7-meter mural for the Okapi restaurant

Mural de 7 metros para el restaurante Okapi

Today I want to show you this fantastic 7-meter interior mural that I painted inside the Okapi restaurant in Playas de Fornells.

Aurelie and Xavi (the current owners of the restaurant) contacted me to paint a trompe l'oeil of a window that would reflect a landscape capturing the essence of Menorca. For me, the essence of the island lies in the Menorcan countryside, so I got to work and drew this plot of land with some of the elements that, for me, are most representative of it: fennel, dry stone walls, fences, a paput (a type of traditional Menorcan stone), a clear blue sky... and, of course, a donkey.

Creating this mural has been a magical experience for me, carried out in very good company and one that I would definitely repeat.
